About the COFYbox

The COFYbox is a direct result from the collaboration between European cooperatives in the context of the European funded REScoopVPP project. The main goal of the COFYbox is to enable end-users to lower energy consumption and to use primarily renewable energy whenever available.

The COFY-Box has been developed specifically for energy communities by other energy communities. It is a pragmatic tool that needs to be installed in people's homes and is compatible with a wide range of domestic smart energy and home appliances. The COFYbox can support a variety of services: local dynamic time of use and balancing tariffs, energy and environmental monitoring, and optimal control and integration of smart home and energy appliances.
